Television Continental (TVC) has sent a public invitation to Nigerian critic and activist Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan or VDM.
TVC made this known on Tuesday, 18th of February, while also disclosing that it had initially extended an open invitation to VeryDarkMan.

Recall that Deeone granted an interview to TVC on Saturday, 15th of February, where he made serious allegations against VDM, accusing the activist of mismanaging the funds of his NGO and claiming to have evidence of VDM in a sexual encounter with a man.
In response, the social media critic insisted on being interviewed on TVC to present his side of the story regarding the allegations Deeone made against him.
VDM’s reply led numerous fans to swarm TVC’s Instagram comment section, expressing their support for the social media critic and his call to be given a platform to share his side.
TVC, however, issued a statement on its social media page, stating that it had first extended an open invitation to VDM on Saturday, 15th of February, after Deeone’s allegations.
TVC also shared a clip as evidence of their open invitation to VDM, where the show presenter mentioned that they would also hear his side of the story.
In its message, the TV station revealed that it had scheduled 22nd of February for VDM to appear on the show and respond to Deeone’s allegations against him.
The statement reads, “This is to confirm that TVC News already extended an open invitation to Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, on Saturday, February 15th, following allegations made by comedian Deeone during our Weekend Breakfast Show as captured in the clip herein.
“We are using this avenue to reiterate the open invitation, and we are anticipating a Direct Message from VDM to confirm his willingness to come on the TVC Breakfast show next Saturday, 22nd February, to share his side of the story.
“@theverydarkman kindly send us a DM to fine-tune the details!”
