The program “Essence of Life” on Kapital FM 92.9 is an enlightenment program designed for the education, enlightenment, information and reformation of both the presenter and the general public; most especially the Muslims and lovers of Islam. It is in this sense that it becomes funny when after the program someone call-in and ask me where do I worship. I told him I worship where Muslims worships. After some explanation, I informed him that a Muslim is encouraged to worship in any Masjid (mosque) nearest to his house or office.
He then said: ‘If all these discussion I have presented on The E of L is as it is, “why is it that the Muslims are doing what is not good.”?’
I asked him if it is fair to judge a whole tree as bad if you eat one bad fruit? But you can judge a Tree by its fruits. Yes, he agreed.
If you want to Judge Islam, you have two authentic Sources: the Glorious Qur’an and The Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h, the last of those sent by Allah.
He also agreed that it is not only Muslim that could have flawed characteristics. It is simply human. Islam however set guidance for those who believes.
He then wants to know the key message of Al-Islam. The key is the Kalimah. The Kalimah is the word uttered by every Messenger of Allah, which is: “your God, my God, is One God” in Islam, you say it in this format:
Lailaha Ila Allah, Muhammadu Rasullu Lah.
“There is no deity deserving of worship except Allah, and Muhammad is a Messenger of Allah”. This you utter with your tongue and belief with your heart!!!
Remember, you are a Muslim because you have accepted to devote worship to Allah alone and to accept Muhammad as the Messenger of Allah. That is your passport to Paradise. The key to Paradise is your Solat. This you can observe in any Masjid anywhere in the world!
In other words, if anyone label himself with his organization, association, tribe and attach it to Islam; it will be a fine way of displaying ignorance.
If you allow the ignorant ones to now encourage you to be killing yourselves as is happening in today’s world, where brother kill brother under the ruse of democracy or a guise of one being a moderate, Sunni, Shiite, Kurds etc, is a sick way of displaying ignorance.
Take Time To Reflect:
Ask yourself why is it that big nations are ready to sell Armament for you to kill yourselves yet, to transfer technology that can improve your life is not possible? Why is fund readily available to buy Armament to kill the citizenry, yet there is never enough fund for education, health and housing?
Why is it that the terrorist source of fund is never traced! Has it ever occurred to you that it is the character that invites the thief to your farm the same that also alerted the farmer when the thief will enter his farm and whom it is. Wake up people, wake up.
The question you should ask yourself is that Adam, Ibrahim, Noah, Musa, Eesa and Muhammad, which sect or denomination do any of them belong?
The Qur’an Speaks:
3:83. “Do they seek other than the religion of Allah, while to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly. And to Him shall they all be returned”.
The Source of Faith is Ibrahim:
3:84. “Say (O Muhammad SAW): “We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob) and Al- Asbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)) and what was given to Moosa (Moses), Iesa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam).”
In other words:
To a Muslim, dichotomy should not exist because it does not exist. Where imaginary differences is created: fundamentalist, moderate, social, etc; like the learned scholar with a legal mind will say: ” those are words from your mouth and so, it is null and void to the extent of its inconsistency”; Wao, that is grammar!
Whatever anyone calls you, or label you, or imagine you to be in his head or mind, is a burden to him so long as what Allah calls your religion and the religion of other Messengers of His is AL-ISLAM and the practitioner of Islam Muslims. There is nothing like moderate, or fundamentalism. Those are slogan cooked by the ignorant minds to confuse you in your religion.
3:95. “Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Allah has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. he used to worship Allah Alone), and he was not of Al- Mushrikoon.”
The Basis of Islam:
The 2 Books:- the Glorious Qur’an and the Ahadith
The Qur’an is word of Allah 100% called The Qur’an by Allah s.w.t
The Ahadith is the Book that practicalize the Qur’an with Rasullah as role model!
The character of Muhammad (s.a.w), the Last Prophet; is the Qur’an Narrated “Aisha”
Everything you are asked to do as a Muslim is the irreducible minimum
The essence of Life is for you to be aware of the fundamentals of Islam and know that:
The Message is One
Just as The Creator is One
And of course, The Qibla is one! Just as Islam will remain One
