Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie says the team will fight to reclaim the title at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The nine-time champions had a disappointing outing at the 2022 edition of the competition finishing in fourth position.
Justine Madugu’s side put up an impressive performance in the 2-1 friendly defeat to France last weekend.
Nnadozie stated that the team’s main objective now is to win the title at the 2024 WAFCON finals.
“It is the last game of the year, but next year we will continue where we stopped. The goal is to win the WAFCON and by the grace of God we will,” she told Ojb Sports.
“I always say that we have a bright future, it hasn’t been the same over the past four to five year.
“We are always moving ahead and growing. We have so many young talents and I think in the next 20 to 30 years, we will not lack good footballers in this team.”
