Nigeria’s Super Falcons have kept their 36th position in the latest FIFA women’s world ranking, Prompt News reports.
The first women’s ranking for 2025 was published on FIFA’s official website on Thursday.
The nine-time African champions have been in 36th position since March 2024.
The Super Falcons also retained number one position in Africa.
They are followed by Women’s Africa Cup of Nations holders South Africa (54th in the world), Morocco (60th), Zambia (64th) and Ghana (65th).
Globally, the United States of America are No.1, trailed by world champions Spain, Germany, England and Japan.
Sweden, Canada, Brazil, North Korea and the Netherlands complete the world’s top 10.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking will be published on 12 June 2025.
