The Super Eagles will learn their opponents for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Tuesday, May 19, Prompt News reports.
A total of 48 teams, including co-hosts Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, will take part in the qualification series.
The qualifiers will be held across three FIFA international windows in September, October, and November.
All 48 teams will be drawn into 12 groups of four, with the top two teams from each group securing a place at the final tournament.
Nigeria claimed third place at the 2025 AFCON finals in Morocco.
The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will kick off on Saturday, June 19, with the final scheduled for Saturday, July 17.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the tournament will run throughout this period.
