Nigeria’s Super Eagles remain in the same 40th position in the latest ranking released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) on Thursday.
Also, the West Africans maintained sixth position in Africa.
Atlas Lions of Morocco, African champions Senegal, Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, Desert Foxes of Algeria and Pharaohs of Egypt are the top five teams on the continent.
The Super Eagles took part in two friendllies this month.
Jose Peseiro’s side were forced to a 2-2 draw by Saudi Arabia, while they defeated Mozambique 3-2.
