Super Eagles defender Benjamin Tanimu has completed a return to Tanzanian Premier League club Singida Black Stars, signing a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee, Prompt News Online reports.
The 23-year-old previously featured for Singida Black Stars after joining the club from Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Bendel Insurance in February 2024.
Tanimu’s impressive displays in Tanzania earned him a move to English League One outfit Crawley Town on a two-year deal in September 2024.
He later secured a transfer to Moroccan side Maghreb Fès in July 2025, where he spent the 2025/26 campaign before sealing his return to Singida Black Stars.
The centre-back is expected to link up with his new teammates at the club’s pre-season training camp in Rwanda as preparations intensify for the 2026/27 campaign.
Tanimu has also represented Nigeria at senior international level, making three appearances for the Super Eagles.
