The National Administrative Council (NAC) of National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballer (NANPF) has approved the appointment of some NANPF officials as Zonal administrators of the Stephen Keshi Cup.
It is an annual National Youth Football Tournament from Under 17 – 19 as part of projects designed by NANPF to immortalise and preserve the contributions and legacies of Stephen Keshi to the overall development of African Football.
The Zonal Administrators are:
1 North West – Comrade Dahiru Sadi
2 North East – Comrade Patrick Pascal
3 North Central – Comrade Abubarka Musa
4 South South – Comrade Edema Fuludu
5 South East – Comrade Victor Okoh
6 South West Comrade Taju Disu
A statement by NANPF Deputy General Secretary (Technical), Peter Nnolum, says all States Councils Chairmen /Secretaries will serve as coordinators of the tournament in the states.
In a related development, NANPF, has equally appointed one of its official consultants, Prince Dapo Ajibade as the Tournament Director of the Stephen Keshi Cup with a few to ensuring the tournament enjoys top quality organization of world class standard
Ajibade was the organiser of the Odua Pre-season Tournament in 2007, and the Senate President Cup in 2011.
He is the Chairman, Ondo State League Management Committee and immediate past chairman of Ondo State Football Agency and President, Sunshine Stars FC from 2016 to Feburary 2017.
