The Super Eagles beat Iran 2-1 in their international friendly in Antalya, Turkey on Friday afternoon.
Moses Simon opened scoring for the Super Eagles with just seven minutes on the clock.
Simon, who was set up by Samuel Chukwueze powered home from inside the box after dribbling past an opponent.
The Super Eagles created flurry of chances afterwards but failed to convert them.
Emmanuel Fernandez came on for his debut, replacing Semi Ajayi after the break.
Akor Adams doubled Nigeria’s lead six minutes after the break with a composed finish following a beautiful assist from Ademola Lookman.
Olympiacos striker Mehdi Taremi pulled a goal back for Iran in the 67th minute.
Nigeria will now shift attention to their second friendly against Jordan next week Tuesday
