The ministerial nominee from Oyo State, Barrister Adebayo Shittu has congratulated Governor Abiola Ajmobi over his victory on Tuesday, at the governorship election petition tribunal.
Shittu, in a press statement personally signed by him on Tuesday, said that he wasn’t surprised by the verdict of the tribunal legitimizing the election of Governor Ajimobi.
According to the statement “As the collating officer for Ajimobi in Saki West Local Government Area and as a lawyer, I know that the governorship election in Oyo State was duly won by Governor Ajimobi, and that the election will stand the test of litigation in any court.
“I want to personally congratulate the governor for this victory and also wish him success as he thrives to improve on the socio-economic well-being of the people of Oyo State.”
Shittu also calls for total support of politicians and everyone in Oyo State to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
