Nigerians have been told to vote for political parties that have the restructuring of the country as a priority and as its major agenda in the 2019 elections.
Speaking on a Radio program monitored in Ibadan,gubernatorial hopeful of the African Democratic Party,ADC,in Oyo State,Barr Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli said since the All Progressives Congress,APC,led federal government has declared it was not part of its agenda, the party should be shown the way out in 2019.
Alli, a former Secretary to the state government,decried the politics of deceit which should not be allowed in 2019 stating that politics has been outrageously monetized that a winner who had spent so much will be scrambling to recover his money after elections and called for a standard that will moderate the polity.
Such standard,according to Alli,will go through legislation in the National Assembly,and all stakeholders–the politicians,the media and the electorates as a whole will have to abide.
Answering another question,Barr Alli appreciated the Not Too Young To Rule bill but cautioned that the youths should undergo adequate political tutelage and give honour to the elders.

The gubernatorial hopeful recommended five political parties for the country in order to curb the spate of defections and suggested a law that will automatically proscribe any party without membership in the legislature.
