Victor Osimhen became the second African player to score 10 plus goals in three different Serie A seasons after netting in Napoli’s 2-0 at Sampdoria on Sunday night, reports Prompt News.
Former AC Milan forward, George Weah was the first African player to achieve the feat.
Weah scored 10 plus goals for AC Milan in 1995/96; 1996/97 and 1997/98 seasons.
Osimhen opened scoring for Napoli at the Stadio Cominale Luigi Ferraris.
It was the forward’s 10th goal in 13 league appearances for Napoli this season.
The Nigeria international scored 10 goals in 24 outings during his first first season at the club.
Last season, he netted 14 times in 27 league appearances.
