Serie A club, Genoa have officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker David Ankeye on a permanent deal from Moldovan Super Liga side Sheriff Tiraspol.
Genoa paid a fee in the region of €3m to secure Ankeye’s services.
Ankeye completed his medicals with the Rossoblu on Wednesday morning.
The young striker will wear the no.30 shirt at his new club.
The 21-year-old Nigerian has signed a three-and-a-half year contract, which will run until the summer of 2028. READ ALSO:

Ankeye has been in fine form in the Moldovan Super Liga this season, registering five goals from 13 appearances. Only five of those outings were as a starter.
