By Olusegun Lawrence Senate on Wednesday confirmed two nominees as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Those confirmed are: Prof. Stephen Ocheni from Kogi and Suleiman Hassan, Gombe states.
President Muhammadu Buhari, recently forwarded the names of the duo to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
Prof Ocheni is replacing former Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, who died last year in a ghastly motor accident along Abuja-Kaduna road.
Also, Mr Hassan is replacing former Minister of Environment, Ms Amina Mohammed, who resigned from the Federal Cabinet following her appointment as United Nations Deputy Secretary General.
Prompt News reports that each state of the Federation is constitutionally required to have at least, a Minister.
