Mr Ayoola Fatai  Executive Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, says Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu does not joke with the council, in extending facilities to the people.

He said this on Tuesday, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos

The chairman said that the Lagos State government’s relief measures were making  impact on people in his area, applauding Sanwo-Olu for the gesture.

Fatai listed some of his own ongoing projects and reiterated his commitment to the development of his council.

“I can tell you without any ambiguity that Gov. Sanwo-Olu does not joke with the people of Ajeromi-Ifelodun, we can never forget him.

“We have a four point agenda, we have been able to build schools with libraries, we have built about 70 roads now and still counting.

“We were able to build a stadium, which is very uncommon in the whole federation.

‘This will to serve as recreational centre for our youths and even the elderly that want to keep fit.

“Our council was one of the councils that was touched during the EndSARS project, but we were able to rebuild it in four months.”

He said that the council was undertaking another project, feeding the populace, for the people of Ifelodun. (NAN)
