Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze may join Everton during the January transfer window, Football Insider is reporting.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the AC Milan winger has been on the club’s radar before.
Chukwueze hasn’t figured much this season under new AC Milan coach Paolo Fonseca, with six of his eight appearances in all competitions coming from the bench.
However, well-placed sources have told Football Insider that a deal for the winger will be difficult to accomplish in the upcoming transfer window.
Sean Dyche is targeting a right-winger to enhance that side of the team, with Santiago Castro being another option.
