Rivers United forward Albert Korvah is delighted with his maiden call-up to the Liberia national team.
Korvah is in the Lone Stars squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana and international friendly versus Atlas Lions of Morocco.
The versatile striker took to the social media to express his delight following the invitation.
“All the glory belongs to God,” Korvah wrote on his Twitter handle.
“Growing up as a kid, my greatest prayer was to represent my Country, Liberia.
I’m happy to have been called-up to represent my country in the 2023 TOTAL ENERGIES AFCON qualifiers against Morocco.”
“I’m hoping to give my all for Mama Liberia.

Korvah was named best foreign player in the Nigeria Professional Football League last season.
