Chairman Federal Capital Territory Football Association, Mohammed Adam Mouktar has Congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria for progressing into the quarter final stage of the ongoing 2023 AFCON in Cote d”Voire.
The digital Chairman while reacting to the team’s 2 – 0 victory against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, said with super performance of the team and the manner the players are improving with each game, wining the competition will not be out of place.
” Frankly I see the team lifting the Trophy if they remain focus and not carried away with the victory against Cameroon. Secondly the Super Eagles are improving with each game. The team still have about two matches to get to the final. I sincerely believe that they will not be distracted ” said Mouktar
He commended the Federal Government headed by Bola Ahmed Tinubu for creating enabling environment and providing the necessary funds for the team.
Mouktar also noted that for the first time the Super Eagles had no issue in terms of daily allowances and winning bonus unlike previous editions where Nigerians by now a wash with unpaid match bonuses and other entitlements. READ ALSO:

“Kudos will equally go to NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau for the manner he manages the affairs of the glasshouse .No rancour within the team. The players and officials are in one page. Absolute unity in camp. Also no team should be underrated because the competition so far had shown that every nation is as good as winning the Nations Cup.”
