President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of two federal agencies’ chiefs with immediate effect.
Mr Bisoye Coker-Odusote is to serve as the acting Director-General/Chief Executive of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), while Hon. Yusuf Yakub will serve as the new Director/CEO of the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC).
A statement by Mr Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced this on Tuesday in Abuja.
The president also directed the commencement of 90-day pre-retirement leave for the outgoing NIMC Director-General/CEO, Aliyu Abubakar Aziz, with effect from Aug. 24, before his retirement from service on Nov. 24.
Coker-Odusote is to serve in acting capacity with effect from Aug. 24 after which, a full term of four years will begin as the substantive Director-General/CEO from Nov. 24. READ ALSO:

Yakub’s appointment follows the recent expiration of tenure of the former DTAC Director/CEO, Dr Pius Odin.(NAN)
