Manchester City returned to winning ways in the Premier League courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
It was the champions first win in five Premier League games.
Savinho netted his first goal for the Citizens n the 21st minute.
The Brazilian pounced on a rebound from Phil Foden’s long shot after Leicester goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk pushed the ball into his path.
Erling Haaland doubled the visitors lead in the 74th minute.
The forward headed home a looping cross from Savinho to seal victory for Pep Guardiola’s men.
Manchester City climbed two spots to fifth place in the standings following the win.
Leicester remain in the danger zone in 18th place.
