Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka were on target as Arsenal eased to a 2-0 home victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in their opening Premier League game of the season.
Arsenal were not at their best in the game but still fully deserved the points.
Havertz headed in from Bukayo Saka’s cross in the 25th minute.
Saka’s clinical finish doubled their advantage in the closing stages.
Rayan Ait-Nouri and Rodrigo Gomes but missed good chances for Wolves.
Much will be expected from Arsenal in subsequent games they were rattled by Wolves.
