A man has been arrested by police operatives in Osun State for allegedly drugging young girls and trafficking them to Libya.
Osun state police command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, in a statement on Tuesday, said one Adebisi Muideen, was arrested after successfully moving four girls to Kano from Ile-Ife, from where they would be moved to Tripoli, Libya.
Opalola said the suspect invited the young girls to a birthday party, during which they were served food and laced their drinks with sleeping pills.
His words, “After taking the food and drinks, the girls slept off and later woke up in Kano state en route to Tripoli, capital of Libya.
“The three of the girls have been reunited with their families but the whereabouts of the fourth girl is still not known presently,” the statement reads.
