President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick will on Saturday be a honoured guest at the 18th Annual Africa Business Conference of the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachussetts, United States of America.
Only last Saturday, the NFF supremo was named the Sports Personality of the Year at the prestigious The SUN Awards in Lagos.
The Africa Business Conference is sponsored by the Africa Business Club at the Harvard Business School, and will hold at Harvard Business School’s campus in Boston from February 26-28. The conference panel sessions and gala will hold on Saturday, February 27.
Pinnick, a member of the CAF organizing committee for the Africa Cup of Nations and the organizing committee for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, has been invited as a distinguished panelist for the paper, Football in Africa.
The letter of invitation read, inter alia: “We believe that your experience as a football administrator will uniquely help us deliver a rich panel and ultimately a very successful conference to our over 1,200 conference attendees from all over the world. This year’s theme, “Unite. Innovate. Disrupt: Homegrown models for Africa’s prosperity” will aim to celebrate and promote awareness of existing innovative solutions that have been deployed in Africa, in addition to motivating attendees to create more innovative solutions to overcome the challenges in Africa.”
It would be recalled that Pinnick delivered a powerful paper at the annual conference of the Nigeria Bar Association held in Abuja in August last year.
