Former Nigeria head coach Jose Peseiro has turned down the chance to manage Turkish club, Kayserispor.
According to Portuguese website, A Bola, Peseiro was offered the job after meeting with top officials of club, but declined to tinker the team.
The 64-year-old has been without a job since leaving his role with the Super Eagles in February, 2024.
The former Saudi Arabia and Venezuela gaffer believed the Kayserispor project is not right for him.
The Anatolian Star are currently going through a financial crisis and have been banned from registering new players in the next three transfer windows.
The modest club are on a run of five games without a win (four defeats and one draw).
Kayserispor currently occupy 17th position on the table with 16 points.
