Jose Peseiro has refuted reports he is interested in making an instant return to manage the Super Eagles.
Peseiro’s contract expired at the end of last month and he penned an emotional message to signify an end to his reign to in charge of the Super Eagles.
The Portuguese has once again reiterated that his work with the team was complete, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to coach such talented players.
“As I said, my work with the Super Eagles is over. It was gratifying to coach players of such quality, with my staff we managed to do well in this sense, but the time has come to move on to another project,” Peseiro said in an interview with Sports Italia.
During his tenure, the 63-year-old oversaw 22 games with the Super Eagles, registering eleven wins, four draws, and seven defeats. READ ALSO:

He guided the Super Eagles to second position at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
