The President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Ibrahim Musa Gusau has revealed that the Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has been given the mandate to handle home based Super Eagles known as CHAN Eagles.
Gusau made this known during a parley with media on Tuesday as he marked one year in office, stating that missing CHAN twice consecutively was not in the best interest of our nation hence the NFF has double engaged the Portuguese tactician to take charge of the home base eagles.
The President further said, the football house has also secured an apartment for the coach to enhance his productivity and monitor our domestic league players for CHAN qualifiers bill to commence in November.
” Our mission is to be in CHAN championship next year. Missing it twice in a roll is not good for our image. So is our duty to get it right locally . I am also happy with our improvement on the NPFL management.
“Sponsors have beginning to get confidence and ready to invest more to attract foreign players and partners. Honestly it is not easy but happy with the stability of the league”. Gusau concluded.
