The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe on Wednesday commended the administration of Gov. Mai Mala Buni for the level of performance across the state within 100 days in office.
Alhaji Abubakar Bakabe, the secretary of the party in the state, said in a news conference that the “the party notes with satisfaction the people oriented policies , programmes and projects initiated in the 100 days of the state government.
“The declaration of State of Emergency on Primary and Secondary education in the state was indeed a commitment to move the state from an educationally disadvantaged state to an educationally prosperous state.
“Similarly, the constitution of a committee of erudite scholars, seasoned education administrators and prominent intellectuals to develop a roadmap for government are the right steps to repositioning primary and secondary education.
According to the party, the resuscitation of the Yobe Flour and Feed mills and the state owned aluminum factory at N174.8 million will resume production, create employment and revenue generation to the state.
“The partnership with the Nigeria Shippers Council for construction of modern Trailer Transit camp in Potiskum with a capacity to create 5,000 direct employment will also fight unemployment.
