The Super Falcons of Nigeria will slug it out with Brazil in their opening Group C fixture in the women’s football event at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Randy Waldrum’s side secured a place at Paris 2024 following a 1-0 aggregate victory against the Banyana Banyana of South Africa last week.
The encounter against the Brazilians will hold at the Stade Matmut- Atlantique, Bordeaux on Thursday, July 25.
The game is scheduled to start at 6pm Nigeria time, PROMPT NEWS reports.
Nigeria’s second group game against world champions Spain will also kick-off at 6pm at the Stade de la Beujoire, Nantes on Saturday, July 28.
The Super Falcons side will round up their group stage campaign against Japan three days later also at the Stade de la Beujoire. Kick-off is 4pm.
The Super Falcons are making a return to the Olympics after a 16-year absence.
