The Super Falcons of Nigeria will look to take a big step in their bid to return to the Olympic Games when they host longstanding rivals, South Africa on Friday (today).
The highly anticipated encounter will hold at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Africa’s most successful side have failed to qualify for the olympics since the 2008 edition hosted in Beijing, China.
Randy Waldrum’s side are desperate to end the 16-year wait by getting the better of the South Africans.
The Falcons will be without two key players, Oluwatosin Demehin and Ashleigh Plumptre for the game.
Demehin and Plumptre are unavailable due to injury.

A healthy first leg advantage will make the second leg scheduled to hold next week Tuesday in Pretoria a mere formality for the Super Falcons.
