Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum has replaced injured midfielder Halimatu Ayinde with USA-based forward Ifeoma Onumonu in his squad for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Waldrum has also called up midfielder Regina Out to be part of the four alternate players allowed for the summer games.
Ayinde suffered a long-term knee injury in training with her Swedish club Rosengard last week.
The Super Falcons are currently training in Sevilla, Spain, preparing for the Olympics.
The former African champions will face Canada in a friendly next week Wednesday.
The players and their officials will depart for Paris the following day.
They open their campaign at the Olympics against Brazil on July 25. READ ALSO:
