Nigeria’s opponent for the second round of the Paris 2024 CAF Women’s Olympics tournament qualifiers, Ethiopia have released their roster for the double-header billed for Addis Ababa next Wednesday with return leg in Abuja on October 31 respectively.
Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) has released a list of 25 players invited for the two-legged encounters with the 9-time African champions, Super Falcons, including star player from Ethiopian women’s league champions, Loza Abera headlining the roster.
Expectedly, Abera 26, who plays as a forward for club and country will be joined by ten of her teammates from Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC (CBE FC).
In all, EFF invited three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, and eight forwards for the battle of Addis Ababa and Abuja.
To reach the second round, Ethiopia eliminated Chad 10-0 on goals aggregate in the first round while Nigeria was drawn bye on the strength of her pedigree in Africa. READ ALSO:
