Nigeria’s Super Falcons lost 1-0 against Canada in a friendly encounter in Marbella, Spain on Wednesday night.
Olympics champions Canada scored the decisive goal in the first half, PNO Sports reports.
Jennifer Echegini came close to equalising for Nigeria seven minutes from time but hit the woodwork.
The Super Falcons will now head to France on Thursday for the Olympics.
Randy Waldrum’s side will stay in Bordeaux for one week before their opening fixture against Brazil.
The Group C encounter against Brazil will hold at the Stade Bordeaux next week Thursday.
