The Office of the Human Capital Development, Oyo State Government, will on March 31 and April 1, hold Computer-Based Tests (CBT) for scholarship applicants.
This is contained in a notice issued on Tuesday in Ibadan by Rev. Idowu Ogedengbe, Executive Assistant (Administration) to Gov. Seyi Makinde.
According to him, the CBT is for 100 level students in Nigerian Universities who are successful applicants for the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority’s scholarship.
Ogedengbe disclosed that the scholarship was not from the Oyo state Scholarship Board.
He, however, explained that it was the chairman of the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority that requested for candidates’ nomination from Oyo state.
“The governor, rather than just single-handedly nominate candidates, offered the opportunity to all Oyo state residents in 100-Level across Nigerian universities.
“The test will be conducted on Mathematics, English, Aptitude and Critical Thinking.
“Candidates with number OYOSCH00001 to OYOSCH01645 will write their CBT on Wednesday March 31, while the remaining applicants will write theirs on Thursday April 1.
“The venue of the CBT is Education Advancements Centre, Bodija, Ibadan,” Ogedengbe stated.(NAN)
