Nigeria’s Super Falcons captain Desire Ugochi Oparanozie believes that the team’s dramatic qualification for the next round of the 8th FIFA Women’s World cup final in France was divinely ordained.
Speaking before the Falcons departed their Best Western Plus Hotel Isidore Rennes earlier today, she said it was by the special grace of God that the team sneaked into the fourth and final slot of the four best losers to get a passage to the Round of 16.
“It is really God who helped us to qualify for the next round of the competition. I am happy and grateful to God. I cant thank God enough she said.
