Galatasaray president Durzan Özbek insists Victor Osimhen will be fit to face Fenerbahce in the Istanbul derby next month, Prompt News reports.
Osimhen returned from international duty this week with a minor injury.
The Nigeria international has already been ruled out tonight’s clash with Gençlerbirliği.
The 26-year-old is however expected to return to action within two weeks, according to Özbek.
“He’ll likely have a recovery period of approximately two weeks. Our focus is on Osimhen being ready for the Fenerbahçe match. Our doctors are working on that,” Özbek told Hurriyet.
The powerful striker has scored nine times in 12 league outings for the Yellow and Reds this season.
