Victor Osimhen has been ruled out of upcoming Super Eagles friendlies against Ghana and Mali.
Osimhen was an unused substitute in Napoli’s 1-1 draw with Serie A leaders Inter Milan at the weekend after he failed a late fitness test.
According to caretaker manager, Francesco Calzona said after the game that it was due to an inflammation of the scar from an old injury.
The forward will now have to continue his recovery at the Castel Volturno for at least two weeks to regain his full fitness.
The Super Eagles will take on Ghana at the Grand de Stade Marrakech on Friday, March 22. READ ALSO:
