Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen has said manager Luciano Spalletti is behind his impressive scoring form for Napoli this season, Prompt News reports.
Spalletti has helped mould Osimhen into one of the most potent strikers in the world since taking charge at the club.
The forward missed a large chunk of last season due to injury but still ended up.scoring 18 goals in 32 appearances.
This season, he has already scored 11 goals and recorded three assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei.
“My growth is linked to Spalletti,” Osimhen told Napoli magazine.
”He believes in me. He gives me stimuli, makes me work hard, and never lets me stop.
“With him, everything is easier because you understand that it’s a job that makes you do it to improve even more. It’s just the beginning for me, I haven’t reached any milestones yet.”
