A former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Ondo state, Olusola Oke, is among the newly appointed chairmen of board of parastatals for the aviation sector released by the Federal Government on Tuesday.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment.
“His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has approved the composition and appointments of the Chairmen and members of the Governing Boards of the (aforementioned) Federal Government Parastatals and Agencies”
“The dates for the formal inauguration of the above appointed to the above Boards of Directors will be announced in due course by the Honourable Minister of Aviation,” a terse statement from the SGF reads.
The chairmen and members of the parastatals and the agencies are: Nigerian Airspace Management Agency:
Barrister Olusola Oke- Chairman while members are: Mr. C. J. Udeh, Captain Kuti, Chief Okwudili Uzoka, Amb Jerry Ugokwe, Engr. H.Z. Abubakar, Chief Lucky Umoru, Captain Megason, Barrister A. Chukwuma and Group Captain John Yekorogha (rtd).
Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria include Dr. Dan Kure Chairman; Onuora Chinwe Leticia Hon. Halima Hassan Tukur, Ngozi Lavender E, Mr Farouk Gumel, Mr. Amobi Nwokafor, Mr, Clement Adegoke Dosunmu, Chief Iboro Edaba Ige, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, Dr. Al Amin, Mrs. Patricia Ntofon, Captain Shaifi, Barrister Niyi Agbola Member and Group Captain Henry Unaeze (rtd) as member
