The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the commencement of the 2024 Batch C Stream 2 Orientation Camp today, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, across all states in Nigeria.
The announcement was made via the NYSC’s official social media handle, urging prospective corps members (PCMs) to report to their designated camps with the required documents and essentials as indicated in their call-up letters.
Additionally, deployment letters for the 2024 Batch C Stream 2 have been released, enabling PCMs to access their postings and prepare for the service year.
The NYSC has advised all prospective corps members to prioritize safety during their journey to the camps, emphasizing, “PCMs are advised not to travel at night.”
PCMs are also reminded to complete all necessary registration procedures at the camps, including printing and signing the addendum document, which must be submitted during registration.
“To accommodate logistical arrangements, some PCMs initially deployed to Lagos State will undergo their orientation in Ekiti, Ondo, or Osun camps. Similarly, those deployed to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) may have their orientation in Nasarawa or Kaduna camps.
The NYSC reiterated the importance of compliance with the directives and urged PCMs to prepare adequately for the mandatory three-week orientation program.
