Serie A champions Napoli have denied talks of a tension between them and their talismanic forward Victor Osimhen over a new contract.
GIFN has reported that both Osimhen and his agent are furious with comments attributed to Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis that he is disappointed the player’s camp has reneged on a gentleman’s agreement to sign a new contract.
However, Napoli have denied this in an official statement.
“President de Laurentiis never shared any negative comment about Victor,” stated the club.
“He just said that after verbally agreeing on plan to sign new deal, Osimhen changed his mind.
“We hope it’s just stand-by moment to think about it. In the next weeks we will discuss with his agent Calenda about the future. READ ALSO:
