The struggle for the soul of the Labour Party (LP) may have taken a new dimension as the parent body, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Monday stormed the headquarters of the party to take possession and reinstate Comrade Julius Abure as the recognised National Chairman.
Led by NLC President Joe Ajaero and General Secretary, Comrade Emmanuel Ugboaja, mni and other Comrades to the liberate and reopen the LP National Headquarters in Abuja.
The NLC top officials and members who were chanting solidarity songs such as “Solidarity Forever…..For there is Victory For Us in the struggle…and “Forward Ever Backward Never”, later opened the LP offices allegedly locked by a faction led by one Alhaji Lamidi Apapa.
