ILORIN – A non-governmental group, Nigeria Youth Initiatives Forum on Thursday, threw its weight behind the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a statement signed by its national president, Sikiru Ayinde Wahab and national secretary, Samuel Alabi Olumide, the forum enjoined Nigerian youths to vote enmasse for Buhari/Osinbajo on Saturday, February 16, 2019.
According to the group, the ongoing fight against corruption must be pursued to its logical conclusion if the future of the youths must be secured.
“Let us all go out to vote for integrity, accountability, and quality leadership that Buhari and Osinbajo represent.
“The 2019 elections is about good governance, it is about equal right, equal opportunity, transparency and justice.
“Our prayers to all Nigerians is that they cast their votes for a result-oriented leadership.”
“Please fellow Nigerians, vote for PMB and Osinbajo, vote for integrity in order to secure the future of our beloved nation,” the statement reads.
