Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles are among the 46 teams listed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to participate in the qualifiers for the 2024 African Nations Championship.
According to CAF, eight countries will take part in the qualifiers in the WAFU A zone, seven in WAFU B, seven in UNIFFAC, 11 in COSAFA, nine in CECAFA and four in the UNAF region.
The home-Eagles will battle for a place in the competition in the WAFU B region.
Nigeria failed to qualify for the last edition of the competition which was hosted by Algeria.
The first round of the qualifiers is slated for July and August.
The final round will take place in September.
The CHAN is meant for players playing in their countries domestic league. READ ALSO:
