NIDO America has announced the expulsion of Professor Apollos Okwuchi Nwauwa, Mr. Gabriel N. George, and Mr. Samuel Adewusi, effective from Friday, June 10, 2016.
A statement issued by the Trustee, NIDO America Board of Regents, Dr. SKC Ogbonnia, said the decision became necessary after it was discovered that these individuals are still parading themselves as officials of NIDO, giving the false impression of two factions within NIDO America.
The statement reads further, “As stated in an earlier statement carried by various sections of the media, the past leadership of NIDO America/USA was dissolved due to a pattern of “gross abuse of power; including massive corruption, influence peddling, conspiracy, extortion, false propaganda against the state, nepotism, subterfuge, wanton chicanery, and flagrant violation of NIDO Bylaws.”
“NIDO America/USA is currently placed under an interim committee headed by the Hon. Chiwuikem Ihediwa. Thus, any person conducting business with the trio of Apollos Okwuchi Nwauwa, Gabriel N. George, and Attorney Samuel Adewusi is doing so at his/her own risk.”
