The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled the Super Eagles squad for the international friendlies against perennial rivals, Black Stars of Ghana and Eagles of Mali.
Nigeria have retained the bulk of the squad that finished as runners-up at the 34th Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, but have recalled England-based defender Jamilu Collins, as well as Empoli FC of Italy’s Tyronne Ebuehi and Glasgow Rangers’ forward Cyriel Dessers.
The NFF are however yet to name a substantive head coach for the Super Eagles.
Former handler of the team, Jose Peseiro left the post following the expiration of his contract last month.
The Super Eagles will face Ghana in the first friendly at the Stade Grande de Marrakech on Friday, March 22.
The West Africans will take on Mali four days later at the same venue.
