The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has opened talks with Jose Peseiro over a new contract.
The NFF wants the Portuguese to remain in charge of the Super Eagles after he met the semi -final target at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles finished in second position at the competition
Peseiro’s previous contract ended at the end of the AFCON 2023 finals.
The NFF, according to SCORENigeria will only keep Peseiro on his $50,000 monthly salary.
“He has been offered by the NFF same $50,000 monthly salary because that is what they can afford,” a top source told SCORENigeria
“The ball is now in the court of the coach to accept this or reject it.” READ ALSO:

Peseiro recently revealed he has at least seven offers from different national teams and clubs.
