Director Technical of Nigeria Football Federation Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme says it will be an abomination for Nigeria U-20 women’s football team The Falconets to go to Canada for the 2014 world cup and not scale through to finals. Addressing the players at the FIFA Goal project he emphasize the need for the team to be determine to be the first women’s team to win the trophy.
“You need to be technical and tactical in your play to ensure that the ball only gets to your team mate and not an opponent.”.
Dr ikpeme congratulates the Falconets for winning all their qualifying matches, but notes that the world cup is where the will meet teams and thus need to pay attention to their technical crew during trainings and during matches.
