Newly-elected Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh would take oath on June 25, the country’s parliament said on Friday.
Khurelsukh is the chairman of the ruling Mongolian People’s Party and a former prime minister.
He won a landslide victory in the regular presidential election held on Wednesday, gaining 67.76 per cent of the votes according to the country’s General Election Commission.
According to the country’s new constitution, he is expected to serve a single six-year term. (Xinhua/NAN)
