Wilfred Ndidi described his emotions after helping Leicester City overcome West Bromwich Albion 2-1 on Saturday.
Enzo Maresca’s side kept their position at the top of the Sky Bet Championship log thanks to goals from Kiernan Dewberry-Hall and Harry Winks.
Ndidi’s compatriot Josh Maja scored Albion’s only goal of the game.
The midfielder highlighted the importance of the victory.
“It was really brilliant,” the Nigeria international told the club’s official website.
“You could see how we acted on the bench and all the fans. It was really amazing because we actually needed it.
“We know it is very tight at the moment with the fact that the last game was not the best game, but we knew if we could get this, it’s really amazing because it gives us more steps ahead. It was really good.”
