By Gracious Akujobi Ahead of the kick-off of 2014/2015 Basketball Premier League season, Stakeholders including State Basketball Associations Chairmen and Secretaries have been invited to a five-day consultative forum and Pre-season Seminar scheduled to take place between February 1st and 5th.
A letter of invitation to concerned Stakeholders and made available to Prompt News by the Secretary of Nigeria Basketball Federation, (NBBF) Patrick Okeke, stated that the meeting which will involve the entire league and match officials including basketball Media is aimed at charting a new course for new basketball season.
According to the Secretariat of NBBF, other agenda on the forum include the lessons learnt from last season, way forward, gathering and adoption of new workable innovations for the 2014/2015 Basketball Season.
“Participants are employed to come fully guarded with their agitation and suggestions, as every individual will be given room to express their ideas and ways to move Nigerian basketball to the next level as it’s customary of the Nigerian Basketball Federation before the commencement of every league season,” the letter stated.
